It's JUNE!!!

...which means only two and a half months until school starts again!!!!! Yee haw!!!

Who'da thought how hard a 6-year old would be to keep entertained?  Well, the fact the weather has been super funky does not help at all.   We've had hot weather, really hot, where you don't want to go out because it's hot and sticky; then you've had cold weather; then we've had rainy weather, grass is wet, weather dreary, rain and storms; it's been virtually impossible to get into a summer routine yet.  Not to mention, none of the summer activities really begin until June  Summer reading program at the library begins next Tuesday for five or six weeks, so that will help. We were supposed to have our first t-ball game last night, but, guess what? It was rained out!  Today we really don't have anything to do (Allison-wise). I on the other hand really have TONS to do but none that I can engage Allison in helping with (i.e., tutoring planning, VBS planning, etc.)  The stability and routine of the school year is really good for us!

We already had one friend over earlier in the week to have a playdate; I think we will try to have someone else over tomorrow. HA!

This weekend thankfully does have a few things going on.  The Big Blue BBQ is in town which is kind of like a festival; free movie Saturday morning for the kids; Days of '49 at Hanover Friday and Saturday with parades both nights.  Awww...the weekend will provide some opportunities...thank goodness! :)
