We've arrived.  Getting our footing and acclimating to the area.  Lots of exploration tomorrow, lots to do.

Another California Update

We have driven from Sacramento up towards the Lake Tahoe area in the past couple of days.  Tonight we are staying in Reno, Nevada, Allison and my first trip into Nevada. I wanted to go down to Carson City and mark another capital city off of the check list.  It isn't too far away but I don't think we will make it this trip....just running out of days.  We need to start back toward the Oakland airport tomorrow, in order to get the rental car back before 10:00 tomorrow night.  It will take us most of the day if you factor in traffic and needed stops along the way. I took some photos of the travel the past couple of days on my phone, but for some reason I can't get them to show up here to upload them.

It is really, really pretty here....well, Reno maybe not so much...desert....but the drive to Lake Tahoe, and the Sierra Nevadas were beautiful!
